Lina was born and raised in Colombia and became a believer in 2010. On her first visit to a Christian church, she experienced a life-changing moment, realizing that God was waiting for her repentance and offering forgiveness, love, and a new purpose for her life. She is a software engineer with diverse experience in IT across different sectors. Lina and her husband moved to Canada in March 2020 to study English for four months. However, God's plan unfolded differently as the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and they found themselves staying in Canada longer than expected. In July 2020, they began attending Cornerstone, where they immediately felt welcomed and embraced as part of a loving, supportive family. Lina began volunteering at Cornerstone in 2021, and in October 2023, she took on the role of Administrator, further deepening her involvement in serving the church and her community.
