This past Tuesday, the girls were presented with a mix of random ingredients with the simple instructions of making Rebecca and I some kind of dish that would score well on Creativity, Presentation, Taste, Mouth Feel, and Use of Ingredients.
With an hour on the clock, the girls got down to business and made a very tasteful dish of spaghetti, meat sauce, garlic bread, roasted potatoes, and roasted bok-choi. They started off a little intimidated by the assignment, but with some encouragement to try some things "that their mothers wouldn't do," a wonderful mix of spices and ingredients formed a surprisingly tasteful meal.
Next week we will begin exploring what it means to have one's Identity in Christ.
