One of the things my family noticed right away about Cornerstone is the loving sense of community. People clearly care for one another. It is young and old-er. Each Sunday, new people get welcomed, old friendships get reconnected and there is palpable joy when these encounters happen.
You don't see that all the time in culture today. We need to see it more.
Community is such a necessary part of the human experience. We were made for it. That's why we run Cornerstone Community Groups at church and that's why I'm asking people to become a part of one.
These are the midweek gatherings that happen in homes where people can discuss, study, ask questions, pray for each other and grow together. They are truly the heart and glue of every church.
While we welcome new people through the front door of our church, community is what stops them from leaving through the back door.
Each group will have members, a leader and a host. We need people in all three spots. If you are interested in being a part of a group, please fill out a bit of information and we will do our best to get you connected this fall.
Let us know a little about yourself, your family situation, what role you can fill and we will get back to you shortly.
