Once again, Fraserview Community Hall was the scene of much fun, food, and fellowship. The annual Cornerstone Christmas Banquet was held on December 8. There were many friends, family, and members of Cornerstone that came - over 130 in total. We were blessed by lots of fun and games - thanks to Sean Owen, our intrepid master of cerimonies. Special thanks to David Epp and Cam MacArthur who led it Christmas carols. And thanks to Stephen Malacko and his food team a terrifically tasty meal was enjoyed by all. Michele Anderson is also to be thanked as she led a number of volunteers to make the hall look particularly festive.
David Horita, our Fellowship Pacific director, helped us think about the song the angels sang, that first Christmas night. It is difficult to fathom their perspective. Not only did the angels witness the act of Creation, when Jesus set this universe into motion. But then they were given the task of heralding Christ's birth. It was so wonderful to have such a fun night together to contemplate afresh the mystery and majesty of the Messiah's birth. Come...let us adore Him!
