As you noticed, our church got a new look. What do you think?
While a church is made up of people, the 21st century demands that we keep our public profile looking good. For us, this meant giving our website, logo, and church's branding an overhaul. The hope is that a fresh look will bring a fresh feel to the church both internally and externally.
It is humbling to think that God is actually concerned with how things look. He, the Creator of all of nature's beauty, was the one who gifted and called the artist, Bezalel. In Exodus 31:1-6 and chapters 36 to 39, Bezalel was the chief artist in charge of building the Tabernacle. God gave him all kinds of instructions to make sure his dwelling place was built with skill and excellence.
A team was assembled to pick a new logo. It had to look modern, have a "C", include a corner and have strong, inviting colours. Like Bezalel, we wanted everything that we do artistically at Cornerstone to be done with skill and excellence.
While this is not the biggest part of the church, it is a part. To God, and many others, it is a very important one at that.
