Community Connection

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world!”  What is also exciting is that invited His followers to also be lights in this world.  Once again volunteers from Cornerstone attempted to be lights in our community on Halloween night.  Trunk or Treat was an opportunity to be a redemptive presence in our community on a dark night!   About a dozen volunteers engaged with the community while giving out treats, glitter tatoos, balloons and hot apple cider.  There were conversations and invitations to join us at Cornerstone Neighbourhood Church.  We had a wonderful time at the little park on the corner of Robertson Street and 104th Avenue.  Thank you to all the volunteers who participated and those who prayed and donated goodies.
