For those that missed the Church Camp Out this summer, we had a blast! It was a nice and relaxing time for all that joined us in Chilliwack. One of the main highlights was being able to have a camp fire throughout the entire weekend.
Saturday was a great time as more people joined us either for the day or to stay the last night. The Chapins set up an archery range, Candace and I set up some yard games like Cornhole and Giant Jenga, and many of us spent time fishing and paddling around the lake on kayaks and canoes.
Saturday evening we all enjoyed a pizza supper followed by kid's campfire filled with action songs and a dramatic reading of 1 Kings 18. After we enjoyed some time focusing around God, we cooked up some smores and then played an evening game with all of the kids.
Sunday morning was beautiful and sunny and we all got to enjoy it even more as we had church around the campfire.
All in all, the enire weekend had amazing weather and everyone had an amazing time. It was a weekend of quality fellowship and fun with our church family and we cannot wait to do it again next year!
